ABOUT LUCY CUMMING
I am an aspirational production designer, and a multi-faceted creative, with excellent communication with colleagues and partners and a strong attention to detail. Undertaking the specialism of production design, within my degree of Film and Moving Image, has given me an appreciation of the layers of preparation and creativity that occurs within the art department alone. When creating my work, I really enjoy establishing the motivation, justification or symbolisms behind my designs, specifically in relation to colour theory.

Being a visual thinker, and having the practical understanding of set construction and the craft around props, has led to my interest in working within the prop and set design areas of the art department. Alongside other creative passions, such as singing and playing the piano, I’d love to bring my passion for music, in collaboration with my ambitions within the art department, across productions such as music videos, as well as television and film.
